Santa Watch 2025
Hey, it’s your favorite furball, Hammy the Hamster, and the airwaves are absolutely buzzing! The elves at DDI are working around the clock to get ready for the 15th annual Santa Watch in 2025!
Our very own Number One Elf, Dave (call sign N3NTV), will be manning the radar, keeping a sharp eye on Santa’s sleigh every step of the way. Also helping out will be Janette, for her third year in a row, KI5SSR (The Texas kisser). Janette will be fielding check-ins and keeping up the list for the QSL cards that everyone who checks in will receive. Make sure your address on QRZ is up to date!
Best of all, Santa is super excited to chat with all the kids and parents on the DoDropIn as he makes his way around the world. It’s going to be a blast! This is Hammy the Hamster – Number One Furball, and I’m out of here… 73 for now!

Santa Watch 2024
December 24, 2024. Boys and girls of all ages celebrated the 14th annual Santa Watch Net,hosted by the DoDropIn Radio Network. As in previous years, David N3NTV in Mobridge expertly tracked Santa’s flight around the world. Jeanette (KI5SSR) served as net control, taking check-ins and engaging with both parents and children eager to chat with Santa as he traveled across the globe. Santa, with his call sign “N1S” (Number One Santa), brought joy to children everywhere by speaking with them during his journey. The Santa Watch Net kicked off at 1800 hours ET and ran for about three hours, creating a magical experience for families. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Darryl for providing his RF link, which allowed Santa to connect seamlessly to the DoDropIn. It was a wonderful evening filled with laughter and excitement as little ones had the chance to speak with Santa himself.
